ProtWar/HolyPally/MM/Surv Hunter

Postby Demastacus on Tue Mar 09, 2010 9:51 am

Hi, Archon disbanded due to RL issues and i'm looking to continue raiding 25 man content. I have three well geared characters, any of which I will play and play well.

Character Name 1: Demastacus, top 5 geared Human Prot/Arms Warrior on Crushridge (gs 5963)
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Crushridge&cn=Demastacus
I have an anub'arak shield block set as well and experience tanking all four adds solo.

Character Name 2:Razark, 80 Dranei Holy Paladin (gs 5300)
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Crushridge&cn=Razark

Character Name 3:Bathshua, 80 Dranei MM/SURV Hunter (gs 5200)
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Crushridge&cn=Bathshua

Your Age: 24
Are you a transfer?: No

I can guarantee Demastacus' gear is optimal, my other two Razark and Bathshua may have a few mis-placed enchants or gems that need swapped out, which would be done immediately if accepted.

Raid Experience: Everything TBC +

0/12 Heroic ICC 25
6/10 Heroic ICC 10
11/12 ICC 25
12/12 Normal ICC 10

• Naxxramas Normal: Kel'Thuzad & All Acheivements
• The Obsidian Sanctum Normal: Sartharion + 3 Drakes
• The Eye of Eternity Normal: Malygos & All Acheivements
• Naxxramas Heroic: Kel'Thuzard
• The Obsidian Sanctum Heroic: Sartharion + 3 Drakes
• The Eye of Eternity Heroic: Malygos

Guild Information:

• Previous Guild Name(s): Archon
• Reason(s) for leaving: Guild disbanded due to RL obligations of some of our Main Raiders, they went casual now and I want to progress in 25 man + heroic still.

• Reason for joining DMT: I want to continue raiding 25 man content and progressing. I would have joined NCA but their raid schedule does not fit as well as DMT's. Humble wasn't even an option, because i dont associate myself with despicable people =P.

Other:

• Times available to play/raid: During your raid times.
• Are you willing to respec for the guild?: Yes.
• Do you have friends in the guild?: I've ran a few pugs with some... Yooya..Uzziel
• Exalted Reputation(s): Almost All useful ones on my main.
• Current Profession(s): Dema: BS/Mining, Razark: Eng/JC, Bath: Ench/LW.
• Why should we pick you: Because I make raid times every single week, am reliable and rarely ever cause wipes. I watch videos for fights before we do them and always come prepared for raids.
• Do you farm anything? (gear, reputation, primals...): No. I dont need to.

I recall doing a couple of PuGs and VoAs with this guy. From what I remember, he was very superb and knew what he was doing. Seemed like a mature player and proficient with his warrior.

@jaden04: haha so many noobs asking for GS instead of achieves in trade chat i figured w/e i might as well

@Totamz: Well i have 7.5% hit with that gem, and if i swapped it to a +30 stam one, i would only benefit from 3 more stam. (unless i replace the agi one with a +30 stam one as well which would be +18 stam total). I just figured +10 hit to better ensure hit cap & +10 agi for some dodge & armor wouldnt really make much of a difference. If you want i can change them to + stam. I typically go for socket bonus if its +12 stam tho.

I would never use glyph of shockwave because i dont have threat issues single target. (and am not an AoE tank). I use mongoose because the +agility gives armor and threat from crit which procs all the time and is better than Blade Ward (because BW's proc is so low)

@Nyquil: Ty

@ the rest: i hope no one has a crush on me cuz im not gay. =P

If you were going to socketmatch, do it on items that'd give more of a bonus. IE. +9 stam on a 2 socket item. Also, 10 hit gives you .3% hit, you are over the cap without it. Also, Bladeward for warriors is better.

TankSpot wrote:Mongoose has some value when it procs, but for warriors the uptime of Mongoose is too low for it to be useful imo. I don’t have a link to it, but for warriors Blade Ward is more avoidance than mongoose according to current theorycraft.

Ok ty for the input
